You can't be there every day. We can.

You've got a career, a family of your own, and a parent who insists they're fine. Maybe the calls have already started: a fall, missed medications, a neighbor checking in. The resources to pay for help are there. What's missing is someone you trust to take it over.

You stay in the loop. We handle the day-to-day.

The same faces. Not a revolving door.

Most agencies start recruiting after you call. We never stop. Today we keep about 1.7 Care Professionals on our roster for every client we serve, and we're building toward two. That depth lets us match your parent with someone who fits for the long term, and a dedicated scheduling team builds a steady schedule so the people caring for your mom or dad become familiar faces.

Why we can move faster and match better

We've always done two things: home care for Utah families and staffing for healthcare facilities across the state. For years, staffing was most of our work. Today, home care is our focus, and everything staffing taught us comes with it. That means four things for your parent:

    A better match.

We recruit year-round, not just when someone calls, so we have more Care Professionals to choose from and can send the right fit.

    A fast start.

A deeper roster means we can often start care within 48 hours.

    More training than Utah requires.

Most of our Care Professionals are certified nursing assistants (CNAs), even though Utah doesn't require certification for home care.

    Commitments kept.

If a Care Professional hasn't clocked in for a shift, we know immediately, often before your parent does, and we're already fixing it.

    A real example

Friday evening. Discharge tomorrow. Care starts Monday? Not this time.

A family called us on a Friday evening. Their mom was leaving rehab the next day and going back to her assisted living home. Every home care agency is required to do an assessment before care starts, and over a weekend that usually means waiting until the next week.

But we also provide staffing to healthcare facilities across Utah, including hers. So we worked with the facility to have our team care for her as facility staff starting the next day, then completed our assessment and moved her into our home care right on schedule.

Their mom had help from the day she came home. That's what we mean when we say we find a way to say yes.

Built by a family who's lived both sides of care

Our owner, Michael Hawkins, served more than 20 years in the military, and he and his wife, Natalie, built Interim Home Care to keep serving. Then toxic exposure during his service led to brain cancer. Treatment saved his life but left him physically disabled and dependent on the care of others. Needing care changed how we give it. Families deserve dependable help without losing dignity or control. Today their daughter Alissa runs day-to-day operations.

"I chose the registered nurse option specifically because I hold a high standard for everything in my life and I wasn't going to lower it for this. Interim understood that without me having to explain it. When I needed care a second time, the decision took about thirty seconds."

"My mother was not an easy case. She was active, independent, and deeply resistant to being managed — even as her mind declined. What Interim figured out was that you don't fight that. You work with it. They built a care schedule around who she actually was, not who would have been easier to care for. She passed away at home eighteen months later, comfortable and on her own terms. That's what I promised her. Interim helped me keep it."

"We'd been through one agency that let us down badly. I came into this conversation skeptical. What I found was a team that understood exactly what we were trying to protect — not just my mother's safety, but her identity. She lived the last years of her life in her own home, on her own terms. That's not something I take lightly."
